To give you a little background, my name is Scott - I am responsible for the retail and distribution part of the business, and also do most of the maintenance on our web site. One of the projects that I was working on at home the other day was adding some new products.
So I am working on my laptop on the web site and my better half comes into the room. She sees a bottle of Micro Renew sitting on the table. I get the usual question - "What's That?"
Deep in thought, I mutter "It's a detergent for cleaning Microfiber" and try to continue. Her eyes light up, and asks "Can we wash OUR microfiber towels with it?" Still trying to focus on what I was doing, said "Yeah, sure."Her conversation broke my computer trance - and gave me the idea for a Real Life Test, Right Here, Right Now!
1.) We have the typical dirty microfibers that everyone does. Used for detailing and around the house, but we haven't abused them like sopping up motor oil.
2.) I needed some more before and after pictures and happen to have several different colors.
3.) Most important - it will make her happy! :)
Into the washing machine they go! Small size load with Hot Water. I put in a little more than 2 ounces since some of them seemed particulaly dirty and are light colored. I also let them soak in the wash water for about 5 minutes before restarting the wash cycle.
I laid the microfiber towels on the ledge of the fireplace for pictures. Here are the results before and after untouched and unedited:
It's obvious that they came out clean. But what we really liked is that the towels came out as soft - just like when they were new. And no lingering smell of detergent!
Needless to say I was impressed, and I am not that easy to impress. She was impressed as well.
In our little test we both gave thumbs up on our new product, Micro Renew. I can honestly say you will not be disappointed!
I got some clean microfiber towels, some much needed before and after pictures and most important made her happy!
